Napier - levelled by earthquake in 1931, rebuilt by 1933, and now the Art Deco capital of the world.
This is the Rotary Club of Ahuriri's patch, meeting at the Quayside Restaurant at the original port of Ahuriri, now attracting the attention of land developers for luxury appartments.
President Max Patmoy (pictured right) invites any Rotarian in the area taking advantage of the many attractions that Hawkes Bay holds to come to our meeting at the Quayside Restaurant 5:30pm Monday nights.

From the North, leave the Expressway at the earliest opportunity and travel down through West Shore. Turn left into West Quay and proceed to the Bluewater Hotel on your left (the unmistakable circular structure held up with external cables). From the city, follow the signs to Gisborne or Taupo. Turn right into West Quay opposite the Ahuriri Quadrant apartment complex.
